I see a lot of people spiking their cortisol over what the Enemy is saying today. "Look how stupid they are!" "They are saying that even X is racist or Y is woke trash." "They are siding with muslims against jews." "They are gleefully celebrating when innocent people are hurt." "They are alienating their European allies." "They are completely missing the point." "the retard right" "the woke liberals" "the ebil natsees". Whatever enemyslop it is you feel the need to react negatively to, it's out there, and the fyp will gladly feed you more of it than your endocrine system can metabolize.
The thing is, there's always some retard. In fact there are a great many of them. So it's very unsound and unhealthy to react to the retards. All that does is exhaust you, and train your attention or your algorithm to feed you more of them. What's worst, you end up with a completely distorted view of the world, and even worse a completely distorted discourse among your own allies. You end up spending your time denouncing your allies for being associated in your mind with that one retard grok dug up for you to rage at. Complete self-own.
Should I take my own advice and ignore this particular species of retardation? I do actually, *except when it's people I respect who are doing it*. The danger is that discourse among myself and my friends will be polluted by bad attention patterns, and I don't want that to happen. I want us to be able to have an enriching discourse where we actually compute our shared interests and increase our mutual trust. Not one where we all get blackpilled about how retarded "we" are.
Don't pay attention to retards. Don't even reify them as part of a faction. If you identify with "the right", which just means everyone with a vaguely positive PCA1, you're going to end up lumping yourself in with a mass of retards. If you identify against "the left" you're going to make half of people your enemy (by definition) without intelligent discrimination as to which ones are causally dangerous and which are just civilians or noise.
Focus on particular people who matter, particular organized groups, particular allies in your particular organized faction. Focus on transcendental ideals and hierarchical organization. Anything else is democracy.
