I don't want to be 'that guy', but I think it's important for people to know that, despite publishing the article, I believe that Chris actually moved away from SF for North Carolina and Wolf also is going to or has moved away from SF.

I don't mean to get personal by saying this, but I just think it's important for people to have the full context here because it might change the way people view the power of the argument.

Yeah it's an important caveat that the author moved away. I (wolf) will probably be back in SF within a year or two for many of the reasons in the article. I'm away to be with family around the birth of our latest kid (number 4), and to do a bunch of much overdue travel.

Austin is still definitely second-tier as a tech hub (SF being first and everywhere else second) - I wonder if it can become a more specialized hub, like El Segundo has for hard tech.
