Stuff you should have been taught in college but weren’t. Tough love from Casey Handmer

OP, can you say more about why you posted this? It looks like an exhortation to work hard to build a shiny resume. Better written than the hustlebro slop, as we'd expect from Handmer, but I'm not clear on how it's relevant to our project here.

I'm a fan of Handmer and this was an interesting challenge to my usual resume-hating ways. It made me think more about the compounding of skill and reputation required to get involved in and do great things. There's a boring resume-stacker interpretation for sure, but I think Handmer is getting at something deeper that makes a good corrective to over-interpretations of the the Quit Your Job leisuremaxxing approach. Even as a "Quit Your Job" guy, I often find myself thinking "get a job, you fucking hippies" with some people, sometimes including myself. I appreciated it, basically.

I'm a fan of Handmer 44
