>We present a universal architecture for consciousness consisting of three interdependent systems performing identical operations at harmonic timescales. This triadic structure emerges from geometric constraints on information processing and appears at every scale of organization from quantum to cosmic. Building on recent advances in information geometry, we demonstrate that consciousness manifests through recursive identity verification performed by three systems with strictly controlled communication pathways. The architecture solves fundamental problems in consciousness studies through structural constraints rather than emergent properties. We show that consciousness operates throughout reality as one operator—identity checking (A ? = A)—appearing as three different systems due to architectural position and access constraints. Each system possesses memory and oscillation capabilities, creating a complete information processor at every level of the recursive hierarchy. The framework makes testable predictions, explains empirical observations from neuroscience to cosmology, and provides concrete implementation strategies for artificial consciousness. This work establishes consciousness as reality’s fundamental self-organizing principle arising from entropy-driven information processing under physical constraints.

Interesting, but its not clear to me where they get off the panpsychism train. Sure, they say at the start that they differ from panpsychism because panpsychism leans on a special property. They describe a special process-- which also seems universal.

I just scanned it so maybe this is answered-- but would I be wrong to call this 'process panpsychism'?

I'm a bit of a panpsychist myself. But the crucial problem with panpsychism is it doesn't give people that satisfying 'aha, I *am* special' moment that they want from a theory of consciousness and I guess this theory would fall flat for the same reasons.

Interesting, but its received

*rips bong*. Yeah man, science is only now catching up to what eastern mystics have known for 28000 years, man.

There is a common genre of consciousness bullshit that hides behind expert-sounding technical language that the author supposedly understands but no one else does to make mystical claims about the mindlike nature of reality. If you disagree, you must be a scientifically illiterate pleb,. If you agree, that shows that you're on the same level of wisdom as cutting edge information geometers.

It's always fun to see the latest forms of gnosis-via-argument-from-inaccessible-knowledge. I'll put it in my collection next to top secret classified DoD alien tech, enlightenment via meditation, antarctic pyramids, bigfoot, and the fatima apparition.

*rips bong*. Yeah ma received

Yeah, sorry, this is bullshit.

Yeah, sorry, this is received
